Welcome to the season of Mother Nature (Earth Day is always celebrated in Taurus), the sign of finances, art, talents, self-worth, values, and the five senses. This Saturday, Venus, the ruler of Taurus, transits into Gemini, making this year’s Taurus period colored by intellect, communication, sales, marketing, and business. This is a good combo, Taurus brings the goods, and Gemini can spread the word, promote, inform, and sell them.

From April 20 to May 20, the Sun journeys through the fertile fields of the Bull. We are officially moving away from the impulsive, warlike fires of Aries and into a season of art, luxury, and grounded earth. If Aries season felt like wandering through the trials of Mount Sinai, Taurus season is our arrival in the “Land of (Oat) Milk and (Manuka) Honey”.

This week, Uranus is leaving Taurus, where he has been disrupting and awakening since 2018. Uranus, the ruler of the Age of Aquarius, technology, revolution, and innovation, is officially entering Gemini from April 26 until 2033. Both Uranus and Taurus are happy about this transit. Taurus, being a fixed sign, doesn’t like the volatility of Uranus – El Loco –  being a sky God, would rather fly with Gemini than be grounded by Taurus. Expect great leaps in science, tech, and medicine.

The Alchemist of Value

Taurus is the fixed earth sign, governed by Venus, the goddess of pleasure and finance. While Aries provides us with identity, Taurus provides us with value. Aries gives us life, Taurus provides the reason to live. This isn’t just about indulgence; it is a vital window to develop your talents, boost your self-worth, and find novel ways to translate your innate gifts into financial gains.

In the world of geopolitics and history, the “Bull” has always been a symbol of material power. Take the 7,000-pound bronze “Charging Bull” on Wall Street, created to infuse the financial district with optimism after the 1987 crash. Or consider the diverse range of influential figures born under this sign: the strategic mind of Catherine de’ Medici, the revolutionary philosophies of Karl Marx, the psychological depth of Sigmund Freud, and the artistic brilliance of William Shakespeare and Salvador Dali. Even the Buddha was a Taurus, eventually trading his princely luxuries for the “gold” of enlightenment.
